Some Favorite Tools

I realized over the weekend when I was sewing that we have posted about fabrics and patterns but not sewing notions. These are some of MY favorite tools we have in the shop:

Handi-bobs are wonderful for keeping
bobbins and matching spools of thread
together for easy storage. Comes in a
package of 3.

Gingher Scissors have to be the best scissors ever! The G-7 or G-8 is great for cutting out your garment. The G-5 is our most popular and Mary's favorite! The blunt-nosed Gingher is perfect for lace-trimming. You can't go wrong with any of these!

The 6" C-Thru Ruler is small enough to work in small areas and has accurate 1/8" markings. Great for marking buttonholes and for use with your sewing machine.

The Mist-It Sprayer is perfect for controlled spraying water on small areas.

The Clover Seam Ripper is the best! It cuts your threads without snagging.

You might say I'm a fanatic about corners. This Point Turner and Seam Creaser from Collins is the best I have found to push out corners and smooth the seams.

**** Between now and Saturday, April 17, mention seeing these notions on the blog and get 20% off ! No special orders~in stock items only. Remember: You can order by email or by phone if you are unable to visit the shop!

Happy Sewing!
