Exchange Dress

This is the "Trisha's Treasures Exchange Dress" that was the previous featured on the previous post. I found this picture that I took at the fall market. It is a redrafting pattern that you use with the "Children's Corner Lucy." It's a wonderful year-round dress!

Trisha's Treasures "Exchange Dress" pattern redrafting project guide is one of most anticipated patterns! It will go quickly! (You need Children's Corner Lucy for this also.)

We have been waiting for the reprinting of Lyn Weeks'"Frannie" and "Frannie's Big Sister." This dress has the sweetest yoke....a beautiful design for Easter!

Summertime Baby: This is a darling shadow work, embroidery, and baby sewing book!

The two fabrics above are LAMINATES!!!! They should be arriving soon! We are very excited...can't wait to create rain jackets for our little girls and boys!


All of the fabrics below have already arrived and are GORGEOUS! Each are 60" wide. We have other fabrics will be arriving soon that were also ordered at market.

We hope Christmas has been wonderful for all of you! We’re starting off the new year with an exciting line up….

January 7-8: Elizabeth with The 1752 Lace Company will be in the shop with her exquisite line of English netting laces and antique laces and fabrics. This is an excellent time to begin planning Easter outfits and pageant dresses.

January 9-10: We will be in Birmingham at the Heirloom Market choosing new fabrics, trims, and other treasures for the shop! This is a wonderful time for us meet the vendors and designers in person. We enjoy making selections that we think will please YOU, our customers!

January 13, 14, 15: Winter Sale- Be sure to check the blog and Facebook closer to time for details!

February 18-19: Sewing in the Wiregrass~ The Smock Shoppe will host Jeannie Baumeister of The Old Fashioned Baby. We are beyond excited about Jeannie’s return to the shop! We had the pleasure of hosting her a couple of years ago and I’m sure every participant will tell you that this is an event that you will not want to miss! Jeannie will teach two full days of classes. You will be able to choose to attend one or both. Details of these classes will be posted VERY soon. Seating will be limited. Mark your calendars for this special event!

These adorable jumpers are perfect for a pair of sisters for the Christmas holiday season!
