YEA TEAM! Collegiate Sewing:Part III

As promised, the Alabama version of the Nancy Coburn's "Isabelle" pattern! Rose paired the gray twill and crimson and grey houndstooth for her creation. The elephant on the houndstooth shows an optional bodice your could choose to do.

The first two fabrics were accidently left off the Auburn post. The madras is a great fall piece but could be used for Auburn because it has a lot of orange and navy. (I'm using it but not for that!) The other is the navy/orange micro check.

The last two pieces are great for Georgia. The black/red check can be used for Dothan H.S., Cottonwood, Slocomb, and probably some that I can't remember right now! We have the black/red tri-check but do not currently have the bulldog print. We want your input! Call or email the shop and tell us what you think about the bulldog fabric. Tell your friends about this cute piece! (It is a twill-great weight for pants, shorts, jumpers, john-johns.)

Other fabrics we have in stock:

All ginghams-red, orange (2 colors), yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, black, etc.

(Black and Yellow or Maize would be great for GA. Tech and Ashford!)

Blue/Red tri-check-Ole Miss

There are many others you could choose from as well! Some cute prints you could use for girls' outfits!

Smocking Designs:

Go Dawgs

Tail Gator

Bulldogs

Yellow Jacket & Hornet

***Remember to check the first Yea Team post for the general plates, too!

I hope these three posts have helped you plan your outfits. We look for to helping you in person, over the phone, or by email. If you find a plate I have omitted, let me know so I can share it with others!

YEA TEAM! Collegiate Sewing:Part II

Some smocking designs for your Alabama outfits:

Elephants on Parade

Car Wash (use just the elephant)

Elephants
Martha's Minis
Elephant Parade

Notice there aren't many as the earlier post! The reason is because many those tiger designs are actually in purple and gold. We change them to orange and blue for customers.

See the previous post for the list of general sports designs. They are really cute, too; include some letters, football players, cheerleaders, and balls.

One more post to come! Don't you just love all the possibilities!
Happy Sewing!

YEA TEAM! Collegiate Sewing:Part I

The solid and print fabrics shown are twills. The gingham checks and stripe are pima cottons.

Below are some smocking designs available for your Tiger outfits!

Terry's Tigers

Go Tigers

Tiger Spirit

Tigers Football

Tiny Tigers

Touchdown

Tiger Cubs

These are generic football/sports:

Pep Ralley

Team Spirit

Golden Gals

Go Team Letters

Have A Ball

TD for Dad

Remember, many of the smocking plates were designed in other areas and you may need to change your floss colors. We will be glad to assist you with this when you come in the shop, or place your order by phone or email. By phone: (334) 793-8233; email: smockshoppe@graceba.net.

More teams to come!
